“Namaste”
(The divine in me meets the divine in you)
I am Australian and have lived mostly in Sydney and on the Gold Coast.
I have a background in Social Welfare Work, Counseling and Art Therapy.
A few years ago I felt the need to move on from my Counseling career and focus on my creativity by pursuing my love of photography. I have since sold and exhibited my work and have had my images published in magazines in Australia and China.
I had first discovered travel photography during several trips to India and have always had a passion for travel. I decided to combine travel, photography and teaching.
I undertook a Tesol course to enable me to teach English as a second language.
Teaching English has been a challenging and interesting experience that has supported me to travel, live and work in other countries and immerse myself in different cultures. See article “Teaching English in China - Traveler, Teacher, TV star!”
My recent return to India has been creatively and spiritually rewarding and is a place I plan to visit often. In India I reconnect with yoga and meditation practices that support me on my journey.
As a Photographer I feel re-inspired as India is a visual feast with endless photographic opportunities.
I feel fortunate to be leading a more adventurous life these days. There are many places around the globe I plan to visit and hope to continue having ‘extraordinary’ experiences.
I look forward to sharing my journey!
